As one of the Netherlands’ leading insurance providers, Interpolis understands the value of certainty. However, they’re also not afraid to make innovations that distinguish themselves from the competition. One such innovation has been the addition of an Immersive Experience Room from Purple. This wrap-around 240° immersive room enables Interpolis to conduct impactful employee onboarding and training. It also helps them to form deeper connections with their customers using a stunning interactive brand experience.

Experience

After seeing the IX solution that Purple built for SAP, Interpolis wanted to create their own, truly unique immersive experience room. Interpolis has worked with Purple on a number of innovative and interactive solutions over the years - so naturally Purple was happy to help Interpolis to create their powerful Experience Room solution.

Called ‘De Beleving’ (‘The Experience’) by Interpolis, the Experience Room truly makes the most of an unusually-shaped space. Using an existing pear-shaped conference room, the curved wall has become a huge, 2.5m tall, 240° immersive screen. It uses 4 state-of-the-art projectors (and the powerful Hyro Storytelling Software) to create a seamless, wrap-around visual display. Participants are given a rousing full-body experience with a resonant 5.1 stereo sound system (with subwoofers).

Value

Insurance can be a complex product, so Interpolis needed a solution that could help audiences understand this complexity. ‘De Beleving’ helps them to tell their unique story, and give new employees a memorable onboarding experience too. It ensures that brand values are properly conveyed in the most engaging and memorable way possible. Interpolis’ Experience Room is also a fantastic space for more collaborative projects and workshops, demonstrations, and meetings with partners.
Thanks to this powerful immersive experience room, participants are immersed in a customized brand story which they can interact with (and navigate) using a touch-table. Using Hyro, presenters can use screen mirroring to make a full, flexible use of the hardware for any need. Capabilities are now being further extended with a conferencing system that can provide stunning virtual online and blended event experiences. Perfect for our current times when home-working and hybrid working is becoming the norm.
